SANTA ANA, CA — June 2011 ― Christopher Associates Inc. today announced the release of the 

Marantz iSpector 800 large-format automatic optical inspection (AOI) system. The iSpector 800 is 

capable of high-speed inspection of panels from 50 x 50 mm (2 x 2") up to 460 x 800 mm  (21 ¾ x 31 

½"). 

The new large-format iSpector800 uses RGB lighting+ on axis white 

light, a telecentric lens, and industry-leading algorithms to inspect 

virtually any type of substrate, including mixed technology, throughhole, SMT and LED panels. 

The iSpector 800 offers industry-leading defect capture capability, fast 

programming, and a full SPC suite for defect and process analysis. 

Larger formats are available on a custom basis, and the system is 

available in either benchtop or in-line configurations.
