ZK-2 Module Framing Machine

Li Yang are one of China’s leading manufacturers of photovoltaic module framing machines with over 75 customers worldwide.

The ZK-2 framing system eliminates the use of screws to affix framing and instead rivets all four corners in a single step. First, inserts are placed into the frame channels at each corner of the module as the frame is assembled in the machine. Hydraulic tooling then squares and rivets, ensuring higher structural integrity, reduced damage to modules, and significantly reduced manufacturing costs through reduced labor and materials. Cycle time is approximately 30 seconds/module.

The ZK-2 has been designed for very high production environments and one system can process up to 120 modules/hour with very low maintenance and high reliability. Other models are available depending upon customer requirements, including systems for conventional screw assembly.
  • Maximum Module Size: 1100mm x 2000mm
  • Minimum Module Size: 650mm x 750mm (infinitely adjustable)
  • Operating Principle: Hydraulic/Pneumatic Riveting
  • Accuracy of Framing: +/- 1mm
  • Cycle Time: 30 Seconds
For manufacturers of modules requiring screw assembly, the ZK-1 offers a similar ability to assemble and affix screws more conveniently and accurately.
